Axel came to us very underweight and a little unsure of people. In just his first week at the shelter he began to settle in and his charming personality started shining through. As he’s been gaining weight and recovering, his confidence has been growing as well. While Axel can still be a bit cautious when meeting new people, a few pets are usually all it takes for him to warm up. He’s still learning his leash manners, but he’s making great progress every day. He’s food motivated and eager to learn! Axel is a playful and affectionate boy who loves spending time with the people he trusts. He’s come such a long way, and now he’s ready to find the loving forever home he deserves.

He can be a little rowdy when he first sees you, but once he’s had a chance to get the happy zoomies out he settles down. Dawg is currently working on his leash manners and is making progress every day. While he’s still figuring out how he feels about other dogs, he doesn’t seem to mind them so far. With a little more training, plenty of love and lots of playtime, Dawg is sure to make a wonderful companion for a family ready to match his excitement for life.

Fox is a happy pup with lots of energy to burn and so much love to give! He loves to play, and there’s nothing he enjoys more than splashing around in a kitty pool on a hot summer day. When it comes to actually drinking water he doesn’t really drink he prefers to chomp at it! Fox can be quite nervous around new people and it takes him a little while to get comfortable, but once he gets to know you we promise the wait is well worth it. He walks absolutely amazing on leash, and even though new people can make him nervous he doesn’t make a peep when passing them on walks. He’s such a good boy with a big heart, and he’s looking for someone willing to take the time to truly get to know him before judging him.

Snowball is still working on her leash manners, but she’s a quick learner and is eager to please. Pancake is a sweet heart who maybe didn’t have the best start to life. Lucky for her she is on her way to better things! She is spayed and during her time with us she has learned that humans mean regular food and water as well as ear scratches and pets. Overtime hisses transitioned to purring. Pancake has a little head tilt but it doesn’t seem to bother her; it makes her look curious but I think it’s maybe a tilt of judgement lol. This sweet girl will have lots of love and gratitude to share when the right person adopts her. She really likes the idea of being outside and I truly feel a farm or acreage with indoor/outdoor access would suit her just fine.

Pancake is a sweet heart who maybe didn’t have the best start to life. Lucky for her she is on her way to better things! She is spayed and during her time with us she has learned that humans mean regular food and water as well as ear scratches and pets. Overtime hisses transitioned to purring. Pancake has a little head tilt but it doesn’t seem to bother her; it makes her look curious but I think it’s maybe a tilt of judgement lol. This sweet girl will have lots of love and gratitude to share when the right person adopts her. She really likes the idea of being outside and I truly feel a farm or acreage with indoor/outdoor access would suit her just fine.
