OUR STORY
Our Shelter based in Estevan, Sk was founded in 1994. Helping the community with the stray and lost animals is our number one priority, with a goal of finding suitable homes for each and every pet. We are a No-Kill shelter, this means we house animals in our facility until they find their forever home. With proper care and medical treatment, each animal is able to have a second chance at life!
OUR MISSION
1. To promote quality of life for companion animals through responsible stewardship, successful adoptions, education and enforcement of the Animal Protection Act.
2. To be broadly educational – better laws, better methods and development of the humane spirit in all affairs of life
3.Fulfill our mandate of responsibility for the welfare of animals in the city of Estevan and the surrounding communities.
4. To be advocates for the treatment of animals in accordance with the position statements set out by the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies
5. To better the lives of our fellow creatures through community involvement in the support and growth of our shelter.
